So far, my most impactful learning has been understanding the value of oneβs timeβ¦Iβve learned how valuable this finite resource is. So, Iβve begun to assign a value to each unit of my own time. This helps me to prioritize and choose how and where to allocate my work time, as well as my personal time. I would, of course, love to do everything but itβs simply not possible. This exercise has so far helped me a lot in clarifying how to spend the time I have.

Impact means taking positive actions in a direction that aligns with your mission, vision and beliefs no matter how big or small. We all have the opportunity to inspire and take actions to benefit people and our planet. Sweetfutures futurists are a perfect example of this! Big change starts small.

The biggest learning has been learning the difference between something happening and not happening comes down to a moment of choice, and investing into creating the space for purposeful choice is where my transformation from uncomfortable to growth happens. Also, I feel the most joy and presence when I hold myself, and everything happening around me, with a lot more lightness and laughter. My kids are pretty good at keeping me there.

I enjoy working with passionate people who are looking to make a dent in the Universe. Women entrepreneurs insper me with their determination and persistence to succeed. All the women I have worked with have shown incredible gratitude towards those who are helping them in the journey.

I used to believe the future was bright. I now believe the future is exactly what we hustle for + manifest on paper; it's what we go to therapy for + commit to when all the odds are against us; the future is made by what we believe is worth building. And that to me is seriously sweet!
When it comes to womxn leaders, I have yet to meet one who isn't doing it on her/their terms. -- because it is the only way to do it. Itβs inspiring.

The time, the people, the opportunity - it is all incredibly special, important and necessary! The way we work, live, eat, travel, play is in flux and established systems are being dismantled. We need to innovate, create, and disrupt to find healthier, more inclusive, sustainable ways of living, but none of us can do this alone. Now, more than ever, we need to lift each other up and ensure that those at the forefront of new ideas have the support of a community behind them. I am so honoured and excited to be a part of helping to create a sweeter future at this critical time.
